Two or more people (family members) are trying to use the same email address to apply for a trip. When I approve the second one, it overwrites the first one. How do I handle this situation?

With MissionMinder, each team member must have their own unique email address to have a login account. If two different members (i.e. family members) are trying to use the same email address to apply, it will not work.

(However, MissionMinder is set to allow multiple applications from the same email address. This allows someone to go back and re-apply if for some reason their application was not complete, if you they need to fix something, or if they wanted to apply to another trip at some point.)

To help identify potential problems with this feature, Administrators, Assistants and Applicants will get a warning email if two or more applications using the same email address are received for a trip.

If a potential team member (i.e. spouse or child) does not have their own email address, you cannot add them to MissionMinder.

If you have already received applications from more than one person trying to use the same email address, the best options are to:

1) Ask them to complete the application again, each person using an unique email address. You can create email addresses for free on google or yahoo, and just throw them away later. To save your team members time and some frustration, you could copy/paste and send them back the text of any prior applications. That way they could just paste the answers back in.

2) The other option is getting (or creating) for each of them a unique email address, and just manually add them using their name & email address using the "Add Members" button bottom left of the My Team page. Then they can log in and complete their profile, or you can do it yourself.
